Marathon long-run analytics for COROS runners.

Long Run Lab uses COROS activity data to explain whether a marathon long run supports a target race goal. The first version is non-commercial and focused on evidence from completed training runs.

24 km long runConfidence: uncertain
Target band6:05-6:20/km
Marathon goal4:20

Pace stayed controlled, but heart rate drifted upward after the downhill first hour. Humidity and later hills likely affected the cost.

Built around one question

Does this long run make a 4:20 marathon feel more believable, less believable, or still uncertain?

Target pace context

The app evaluates evidence around 6:10/km, using a practical band of 6:05-6:20/km instead of treating one exact split as magic.

Readable debriefs

The goal is not another generic dashboard. The output should explain pace stability, heart-rate cost, terrain, humidity, and recent fatigue in plain language.

Analysis signals

What the first version will inspect

  • Goal-pace evidence
  • Aerobic drift
  • Late-run fade
  • Elevation context
  • Previous 7-day load
  • Manual key-run notes
